Hurricane ravaged Art Finds Restoration

University of Delaware's conservation work on the Jefferson Davis mansion is covered in the News Journal this week. Writer Kent Steinriede noted that "Museum staff and volunteers have spent months picking up the museum's collection of Civil War artifacts and objects related to the life of Davis scattered across the 52-acre property, mixed with debris from nearby homes and a Denny's restaurant."
