JOB DESCRIPTION
The Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum in Big Horn, Wyoming, has an opening for a ten-month internship beginning, March 1, 2010.
We are seeking an individual who has completed a bachelor’s degree and has evidenced a commitment to history and/or art of the late 19th and early 20th century.
The intern will be exposed to all aspects of the BBM&M operation: exhibition preparation and installation, museum land management, facility maintenance and security, museum management, educational programs, gift shop operations, seasonal staff supervision, docent training, fundraising and patron relations.
Stipend $1,500 monthly, health benefits, housing and utilities provided.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
-B.A. art, art history, American history or a related field.
-Strong desire to learn and participate in all aspects of a small museum’s operation.
-Excellent communication skills.
