The Palm Springs Art Museum seeks an experienced Assistant Registrar to take on a variety of registration and collections management responsibilities relating to the permanent collections and exhibitions.
Desired Qualifications:
B.A. or M.A. in art history, museum studies, archival or library science or related discipline, and two years of museum registration and/or collections management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of professionally accepted collections management practices and procedures including art handling and storage, familiarity with archival materials, and condition reporting required.
